The downtown
David Lovett laid out the town in 1820, and for more than a century it was the commercial center for the farms around it.
The Town Square, with its veterans memorial and clock tower, is the rectangle that Berlin Pike drives around. The Town Green is west of it, in the Town Center development. Restaurants line East Broad Way.
The town hosts free events through the year: Summer on the Green, with movies and concerts on summer Friday nights; Oktoberfest on the last full weekend in September; and WintertainmentFest through December.
A shared-use path for walking and cycling runs along South Berlin Pike from Hammond Drive.
